ALL PRO-LIFERS, TAKE NOTE, KEEP THIS LIST HANDY!

Family Life International Australia Ltd. - November 2007
IMPORTANT PARTY INFORMATION: The ALP, Greens and Democrats all have formal pro-abortion and pro-homosexual policies. The ALP is the only major party that can form a government. If it does, ALP policies will be implemented. The highest authority in the ALP is the National Platform which binds all members. Individuals (even Mr Rudd) and ‘conscience votes’ on isolated bills cannot change the pro-abortion policy. A vote for the ALP is a vote for abortion.
AVOID VOTING FOR THE FOLLOWING ANTI-LIFE POLITICIANS:
♂ Voted for or expressed support for same-sex unions or legal rights for homosexual couples through various Bills.
● Voted for the Research Involving Human Embryos Bill 2002 (legal to experiment on and kill “spare” IVF embryos for the purpose of stem-cell extraction).
§ Voted for the Prohibition of Human Cloning for Reproduction and the Regulation of Human Embryo Research Amendment Bill 2006 (legal to create a human embryo clone for the purpose of stem-cell extraction and to destroy it after 14 days).
% Voted for Therapeutic Goods Amendment (Repeal of Ministerial Responsibility for Approval of RU486) Bill 2005 (removed Health Minister’s authority to approve the abortion drug).
$ Voted against the Euthanasia Laws Bill 1996 (i.e. these members did not want to overturn the Northern Territoriy’s Rights of the Terminally Ill Act 1995 which legalised euthanasia in the NT).
► Member of the Parliamentary Group on Population and Development (PGPD).
♀ Member of Emily’s List (elects “pro-choice” women to parliament).

EMILY’S LIST: Is a radical feminist organisation which sponsors pro-abortion Labor women into Parliament who “are willing to support the crucial issues of childcare, equal pay, and pro choice” (http://www.emilyslist.org.au/about_us/about_us.asp).
DO NOT vote for the following new candidates who are members of Emily’s List and are standing for election in your area:
House of Representatives:
Queensland: Kerry Rea (Bonner), Fiona McNamara (Dickson)
New South Wales: Janelle Safin (Page), Victoria Brookman (Bradfield)
South Australia: Mia Handshin (Sturt), Mary Brewerton (Mayo), Karen Lock (Barker)
Tasmania: Jodie Campbell (Bass), Julie Collins (Franklin)
Victoria: Jane Rowe (Gippsland), Barbara Norman (Higgins), Julia Mason (Goldstein), Zuvele Leschen (Indi)
Western Australia: Sharryn Jackson (Hasluck), Liz Prime (Cowan), Sharon Thiel (Kalgoorlie), Melissa Parke (Fremantle)
Senate:
Louise Pratt (Western Australia).
==========================================
In the present Parliament (41st), the House of Representatives has 58 Labor members. 20 of these are women. 15 of these women (75%) are members of Emily’s List. Every single Labor woman in the House of Representatives appears on this sheet as having supported anti-life legislation as do 35 of the 38 men in the Labor Party (92%). The Labor Party is fully supportive of Emily’s List and has adopted an “Affirmative Action” policy to ensure that women represent Labor in 40% of winnable seats. The fact that this necessarily entails discrimination is ignored.
